The Wuxi-Yunyang-Kaizhou Expressway, abbreviated as Wuxi-Yun-Kai Expressway, is an important expressway connecting Wuxi, Yunyang, and Kaizhou, with a total length of 118.6 kilometers. This expressway has a total of 86 bridges and 21 tunnels, with a bridge-tunnel ratio as high as 60%. Designed with a speed limit of 80 kilometers per hour, it is a four-lane expressway in both directions.
Among them, the Chaoyang Tunnel is a key node project of the Wuxi-Yun-Kai Expressway, with a total length of 5132 meters for the left line and 5110 meters for the right line, making it an exceptionally long tunnel. The geological environment of this tunnel is extremely complex, facing various disaster conditions such as landslides, collapses, sudden mud and water inflows, coal and gas outbursts, and rock bursts, making construction extremely challenging.
LanHi's LGP340A intelligent integrated arch frame trolley integrates multiple processes such as measurement, excavation, arch frame installation, welding of mesh and connecting bars, etc. It can complete the excavation and arch frame installation of the double-line tunnel without moving the machine; the whole vehicle adopts an engineering chassis, with dual power systems of diesel and electricity, a bidirectional cab structure, good driving performance, and adaptability to various complex tunnel road conditions; the boom adopts wireless remote control + manual control operation, making it easy to control the movement of the mechanical arm, with features of rapid operation, high efficiency, and energy saving.
According to the plan, the Chaoyang Tunnel is scheduled to complete the construction of 6000 meters by 2023, and is expected to be fully connected in the second quarter of 2024. As of March 28, 2024, it was reported that the overall construction progress of the Wuxi-Yun-Kai Expressway has reached 87%.
