The Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Expressway, commonly known as the "Tianfu Airport Expressway," is an important highway connecting the Jinjiang District, Shuangliu District, and Jianyang City in Chengdu. This road is part of the highway from Guiyang to Chengdu, as well as from Chengdu to Ziyang and Chongqing. The Longquanshan Tunnel is a key project on this expressway, located in Longquanyi District of Chengdu, with a total length of 4651 meters, traversing the Longquanshan mountain range. The design of this tunnel is the first in the country to feature "bidirectional four-tube ten-lane" configuration, meaning future traffic will be segregated for passenger and freight, with outer lanes designated for trucks and inner lanes for cars.

The geological structure of the Longquanshan area is complex, with numerous fractured fault zones, posing great challenges to tunnel construction. Apart from geological challenges, adverse weather conditions also present a major test. The high altitude of the Longquanshan area leads to unpredictable climate changes, ranging from heavy rainfall to bone-chilling winds, greatly inconveniencing the lives and work of construction personnel.

LanHi's LTYQ24C Mobile Wharf supported China Railway Eighth Bureau in the construction of the Longquanshan Tunnel, assisting engineers in overcoming numerous difficulties and successfully completing the project.
